Returns and Refunds

Last updated: 10 August 2026. This policy explains the 30-day Salt Lights returns option and your statutory rights when buying online.

Our 30-day returns option

You may ask to return an eligible unused item within 30 days of delivery. It should be returned complete, in its original packaging and in a condition suitable for resale. Email [email protected] with your order number before sending anything back.

For a change-of-mind return, you are responsible for the return cost. Because larger lamps are heavy, use a tracked and appropriately insured service.

Your statutory cancellation right

For most goods bought online, UK consumers may tell us they wish to cancel from the time the order is placed until 14 days after receiving it, without giving a reason. After telling us, you normally have a further 14 days to return the goods. Our voluntary 30-day option does not reduce these statutory rights.

Where the statutory cancellation right applies, we will also refund the cost of standard outbound delivery if it was charged. Any extra cost for an enhanced delivery service is not refundable. We may reduce a refund if handling beyond what would reasonably be allowed in a shop has reduced the item’s value.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

If an item arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, contact us promptly with your order number and clear photographs of the item and packaging. We will arrange an appropriate remedy and, where required, cover reasonable return costs. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.

Natural variation

Every natural salt lamp is a different piece of rock. Reasonable variation in shape, colour, mineral pattern, surface texture and small natural fissures is not normally a fault. This does not affect your rights if the item is damaged or materially different from its description.

Refund timing and method

Approved refunds are made to the original payment method. Where a statutory cancellation applies, we will refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or receiving acceptable evidence that they were sent back, whichever is earlier. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show the credit.

Exceptions

The statutory cancellation right may not apply to personalised or made-to-order goods. Any exclusion will be made clear before purchase. Nothing in this section limits your rights where goods are faulty, damaged or not as described.

Model cancellation notice

You may cancel by emailing us, or use the following wording: “I give notice that I cancel my contract for the sale of [item], ordered on [date] and received on [date]. My name and address are [details].” Add the date and send it to the email or postal address above.
