Himalayan salt candle holders
Salt candle holders work on the same principle as a salt lamp but with a tea light instead of a bulb. The flame warms the salt from inside and the crystal glows amber, so you get the same soft light without needing a socket nearby.
Our holders are carved from solid Himalayan rock salt and weigh 1-2 kg each. The range includes round and heart-shaped tea light holders, star designs, a cube holder with a built-in essential oil tray, and a dual stand that takes two candles.
Which to choose
A single tea light holder is the simplest option and suits a dining table or a bathroom shelf. The designs with an oil tray let you warm a few drops of essential oil alongside the candle, which is the reason most people pick them. The dual stand throws noticeably more light and works better as a centrepiece.
Practical notes
Use standard tea lights and stand the holder on a coaster or a saucer rather than directly on bare wood. Salt attracts moisture from the air, so in a humid room the base can leave a mark on an untreated surface. Wipe with a dry cloth only.
